This talk will tell you about the work of CISS, a jointly funded initiative by Scottish and Chinese governments, which works in partnership with local authorities to support the learning and teaching of Mandarin and Chinese culture in schools across the country. Its Director, Fhiona MacKay will talk about the vision for how CISS can help youngsters become better global citizens and how the Centre makes a significant contribution to a fairer, smarter and more successful Scotland.
