This class provides a foundation for exploring major philosophical themes and their practical implications as addressed by some of the great philosophers from Plato to the present day. You will be introduced to philosophical reasoning and will engage with the ideas and writings of significant and influential thinkers through the centuries. No previous experience of Philosophy is required.  Lecture presentations, group discussions and practical exercises.
