This class is for those who have some basic knowledge of the language or if you have completed 'German 1A'. If you have studied German some time ago and know a little, this class is for you. Based on a selected range of topics such as travel, food and lifestyle, this class gives you the basic skills and knowledge to cope with everyday situations in German-speaking environments effectively and confidently. Focusing on your communicative needs, group talk, paired speaking activities and audio-visual materials from the textbook and other sources will make your experience of learning German both beneficial and enjoyable. The class will help familiarise you further with both the German language and 'way of life'. Please note this class is no longer credit-bearing.

Students are responsible for purchasing their own materials.
