Discover sources useful for tracing the story of your own family, including indexes, original records and a range of online sources. The focus of this 8-week class is Scottish and English records and case studies, which show how various sources can be used to build a meaningful genealogical record. Lectures and in-class exercises are provided and we discuss research results and any problems arising. You are provided with a copy of the ‘Family Record: a workbook to record your family research’ by H. Craig.
