D061: Introduction to Word Processing

Information and Communication Technology

Word Processing is a core key skill to acquire when using a computer or digital device. Computer usage requires word processing in some form and having a good understanding of how to use Microsoft Word effectively is invaluable. Through demonstration and guided exercises explore the basics of creating, editing and saving documents before progressing to copying and pasting information from different sources, setting tabs and indents, inserting graphics and creating tables.

Basic PC competence required.
