If you are already familiar with the basics of the French language (i.e. present and past tenses) or have completed ‘French 1B’ and are looking to improve your ability to communicate in a variety of everyday situations, then this is the class for you! You will further develop your understanding of how the French language works through paired/ group activities, the use of audio visual materials and short authentic texts, as well as exercises from the class textbook.

Please note that there is no class meeting on Friday 29 March as the university is closed for Easter Friday. The final class meeting will therefore be held on Friday 5 April. Students are responsible for purchasing their own materials.
