D826: The Italian Book Group - Advanced (online via Zoom)

Italian, Other Language Opportunities, Literature

This advanced Italian book group is suitable if you like reading and love the Italian language. If the answer is yes, join this group. Over monthly meetings read and discuss different books. This gives you the opportunity to practise Italian and discuss the work in a relaxed atmosphere. There are discussions, group work and paired exercises. You will have the necessary skills if you have completed 'Italian 3' or equivalent.

The online sessions will take place on Friday 13 October, 3 November, 1 December, 26 January, 23 February and 22 March. The books the class will discuss are: Italian Easy Reader: Il Segreto di Julia by Cinzia Medaglia and Martin R Seiffarth ISBN 1497452988 (13 October), Sette autori per sette racconti italiani: a cura di Roberto Nicoletti (Virgole e note) by Roberto Nicoletti (3 November and 1 December), Via delle oche by Carlo Lucarelli ISBN 9788806250393 (26 January), Primiracconti: Il sosia.
