D203: Watercolour Basics

Watercolour, **NEW for Academic Year 2026-2027**

This class is designed for students who want to develop their painting skills using watercolour, with a focus on building strong, well-structured artwork. Rather than starting from scratch, you'll learn how to develop paintings from your own drawings—exploring colour mixing, layering, and composition while maintaining accuracy and form. The class emphasises translating line and tone into colour, helping you create confident, cohesive paintings with depth and character. Ideal for those who have completed a beginner drawing class.

Students are responsible for purchasing their own materials.
