This is a fun, "have-a-go-at-everything" class — a mini portfolio class that introduces a wide range of creative approaches to making images. No prior experience is needed, and the class is open to everyone, including people with painting experience who would like to explore new techniques and ways of working. Experiment with collage, drawing, experimental drawing, abstract painting, and figurative painting. There is no requirement to create a formal portfolio, although you are very welcome to do so if that is your goal. The emphasis is on trying new things, developing creative skills, and just having fun experimenting.

Students are responsible for purchasing their own materials.
