Explore the intersection of art, culture, and philosophy in this immersive 2-day workshop. You will master the traditional materials and techniques of Chinese landscape painting, with a focus on capturing the spirit of the four seasons—from spring rain and summer pagodas to autumn villages and snow-capped mountains. The tutor will provide step-by-step demonstrations on brush-holding, colour-loading, and various bifa (brush techniques) using ink and watercolours. To deepen the experience, traditional Chinese tea will be served during breaks, fostering a calm, creative atmosphere. Students are encouraged to work from provided imagery or bring their own seasonal photographs. Suitable for all abilities.

This class will be held over two consecutive days, 10.00-16.00 (with an hour for lunch). Students are responsible for purchasing their own materials.
