For the student with experience in drawing and painting, this class will focus in particular on: exploring mood, the importance of composition, pattern and design in a painting and advanced colour use. You will also be introduced to figurative painting. You will be encouraged to work and develop your own individual painting style and subject matter.

As this is a level 2 acrylics class the presumption is that students already have their own materials and you should bring along a selection of brushes, acrylic paints and an acrylic pad to the first class meeting. The tutor will give you further information on the items he recommends for ongoing classes.
