Cappella Nova Outreach, **NEW for Academic Year 2026-2027**
A singing class for the beginner, the less experienced singer and those wishing to return to singing after an extended break. Each two-hour session will emphasise the health and well-being aspects of regular singing with attention to breathing, posture, and producing a clear and supported tone. In an informal environment we will look at well-known as well as unfamiliar material from a variety of sources providing some degree of challenge in addition to the enjoyment of making music together. Suitable for new participants and those who have previously participated in the Health and Wellbeing through Song Classes. As well having built a reputation for the championship of early and new vocal music through performance, recording and international touring, the award-winning Scottish professional vocal ensemble Cappella Nova offers a wide range of training opportunities available to anybody who wants to enjoy the experience of group-singing and to develop their skills, from beginners upwards.
These classes are aimed at those aged 50 and over.
