D232: Supermarket Sweep

Wine Appreciation

With increasing competition for shoppers on the high street, budget supermarket chains have been using wine as a tool to increase footfall in their stores. Are their wines any good? Do attractive prices mean value for money? Are there bargains to be had or do you get what you pay for? Sample and compare wines from budget shelves with similar wines of a higher price from stores and individual wine shops to find out if there is a correlation between price and quality.

To cover the cost of samples there will be an additional charge of £8-£10 per person per night.
