D103: Stress Resilience

**NEW for Academic Year 2026-2027**, Health and Wellbeing

Modern life can be stressful.  At times, it can feel like our lives are running us, leaving us overwhelmed and exhausted.  But we can take back control.  In this mindful compassion class, we will take a closer look at what stress actually is and when it changes from a force that motivates us to act, to one that stops us in our tracks.  Through a mixture of didactic teaching and mindfulness and compassion practice, individuals can become more familiar with signs of stress in their body, reduce stress reactivity, identify triggers to unhelpful stress, develop skilful coping strategies and build resilience. Workshop style with group discussions.
