This class will explore how to research emigration and migration records, criminal ancestors, and trace English family history. It will cover key sources including birth, marriage and death records, census returns, church registers, and probate records. Lecture based with question and answer time.

Ken Nisbet has been researching his relatives military service for over 40 years and is currently a volunteer for the CWGC and Chairman of the South of Scotland Branch Western Front Association. He compiled the Nairnshire Roll of Honour for the Great War which is published by the Scottish Genealogy Society. He is an Associate Staff Member of Dundee University and regularly lectures on a variety of topics.
