This class provides an applied exploration of psychological testing used from childhood to older adulthood.  Examine a range of assessment tools in clinical, education, forensic and health settings - from neurodevelopmental disorders to dementia and criminal behaviour.  All testing materials and procedures are reviewed and discussed in class no external testing is required.  It examines cognitive and behavioural testing, neuropsychological assessments for disease (e.g. dementia, ADHD) and tools used to understand criminal behaviour and risk.  Designed for those interested in real-world applications of psychology, this class blends theory with hands-on analysis of case studies and test data.  No prior knowledge is required but a basic understanding of psychology is beneficial.
