Literature, Spring Seminar & Workshop Programme
Chilling and thrilling readers with his spine-tingling stories and poems, Edgar Allan Poe remains one of the most captivating storytellers of the macabre. Explore two of his most famous works, 'The Raven' and 'The Tell-Tale Heart' in this one day seminar. Through information about his life, close reading and examination of the poem and short story, with large and small group discussions, discover what made Poe a master Gothic storyteller. Reading materials will be provided in class.
These classes are aimed at those aged 50 and over.
