Photography and Digital Image Manipulation

10 credits (Applied Arts)

This introductory class requires no previous knowledge, it is designed to give you an understanding of digital image manipulation using Photoshop Elements to enhance your images. Through a mixture of demonstration and practical exercises you will gain experience of using the software to download, resize, crop, adjust exposure & colour balance, retouch, apply filters and add borders & text to images. Demonstrations and practical exercises are based around supplied images, however you are invited to bring your own images for personal experimentation.
