Together we will explore the correct and safe techniques to use a number of power tools whilst combining this with traditional woodworking practices to create a number of small items. This class is suitable for beginner and skilled woodworkers - it will not only allow you to explore a range of processes but will also through hand tool work and practice allow the development of basic woodworking skills which are helpful for DIY projects at home. The practical work will allow the development of small projects so that each item produced will be unique and personal. A range of materials for the projects will be provided which will allow for each person to customise their project; students may also bring their own material if they have specific requirements. Please note this class is held in a woodwork setting and there is no seating in this practical workshop environment.
