Following on from the success of The Joy of Jazz through Song I & II, Bill Jones returns to lead another exploration of Jazz through the songs associated with it. There will be an opportunity to learn about some of the great musicians of the genre, to appreciate the characteristics of jazz forms and to understand the background to the songs and development of the music through listening to great performances. Come and join in the journey through the story of jazz and experience the joy and freedom of singing great songs together in a jazz style. The ability to read music is not a requirement, nor are there any other musical pre-requisites – simply a willingness to have a go!
