D738: Scots Songs for all - Intergenerational

Cappella Nova Outreach, **NEW for Academic Year 2024-2025**

An extension of the ‘Scots Song Series’, this class includes the introduction of young people to the genre. An intergenerational look at our national folk song tradition, including bygone children’s songs such as Ally Bally Bee and Ye Canny shove yer Granny aff a bus! Although the majority of the work will be as part of the group there will be the option to sing solo. All songs are learnt by ear with an emphasis on fun while employing good vocal health and habits. Students can bring along up to two children aged 6 + to the class for free. Fun for all the family!
