Art Appreciation, Thomas Graham Community Library
Investigate and critically engage with the history of the religious visual arts in an open and friendly environment. A systematic overview from neolithic animism to a postmodern critique of contemporary religious semiotics will be presented and argued. This class features interesting discussions and debates leading to a deeper insight into visual arts as a vehicle for religious beliefs. Engaging and informative lectures make this class exciting and present history as a living heritage.
