This seminar offers a sensory and cultural journey through Spain, using its rich gastronomy as a guide. Explore how geography, history, and traditions have shaped the diverse culinary landscape of the country. From the 'tapas' culture to regional specialties, participants will discover the stories behind the dishes and the social importance of food in Spanish life. The session will be conducted in a mix of English and Spanish, providing a perfect opportunity to practice basic vocabulary in a delicious context. Lecture-style presentation with interactive discussions, visual aids, and small group activities to practice vocabulary.
Basic knowledge of Spanish (A1/A2 level recommended) or have completed Spanish 1B – Spanish 3 at the centre.
These classes are aimed at those aged 50 and over.
