Watercolour, **NEW for Academic Year 2025-2026**
A relaxed and creative watercolour workshop focused on experimentation, play and mindful making. This session is all about enjoying the process, letting go of perfection, and discovering unexpected effects through colour, texture and movement. Using a range of fun and expressive techniques, we’ll explore how watercolour can be layered, blended, splashed, lifted and manipulated to create vibrant and atmospheric results. This workshop encourages curiosity and spontaneity, making it ideal for anyone wanting to unwind creatively and build confidence with painting. We’ll experiment with unusual tools and playful approaches to mark-making, embracing happy accidents and expressive outcomes along the way. If time allows, we’ll tear, cut and collage sections of our paintings to create abstract mixed-media pieces inspired by colour, shape and composition. Suitable for complete beginners and anyone looking for a fresh, freeing approach to painting. No previous experience is necessary — just come along ready to experiment and enjoy the process.
