D764: Experimental Drawing

Drawing & Painting

Drawing is about more than creating a replica - it is about conveying a feeling. Learn a number of new approaches to drawing and mark-making to incorporate into your own creative practice, whatever the medium. Each week the class will face several drawing exercises to help loosen up, self-censor less, develop hand-eye coordination, and think about what drawing is and what it can be. The tutor introduces and demonstrates each exercise and will provide wide-ranging artist inspiration. Suitable if you have with some drawing/painting experience.

10.00-16.00 with an hour for lunch.
