**NEW for Academic Year 2026-2027**, Creative Writing on campus/satellite, The Open Campus (undergraduate study for all)
We are delighted to offer a new opportunity this year to join undergraduate students in their first-year English and Creative Writing lectures and get a real flavour of what studying is like as an undergraduate student. The classes have been adapted for Open Campus students so there are no exams, assessments or tutorials. They provide intellectually stimulating opportunities to undertake non-accredited learning in collaboration with the Department of English and Creative Writing. No prior knowledge of English is required.
A full induction session will be held on Tuesday 12 January at 2pm in GH752, level 7, Graham Hills Building, 40 George Street, after which all students will have access to class materials and will attend class on campus each week. A full timetable will be provided at the induction session. This module is taught by two lectures a week over 10 weeks. Lectures will be held on Tuesdays 11-12pm and Fridays 12-1pm.
These classes are aimed at those aged 50 and over.
