Forensic psychology has become increasingly popular both in the media and as a subject to study at university. This class provides an introduction to this fascinating field and is suitable for those with no previous experience of psychology. During the class you will cover a variety of topics including criminal profiling, personality disorders, juvenile delinquency, interrogations, false confessions and biological explanations of offending. Classes are delivered in a seminar style including the use of videos and case studies and will include the opportunity for group discussion. By the end, you will have a sound knowledge of the core areas in forensic psychology. Lecture style with question and answer time.
