Health and Safety Risk Management
This module will introduce learners to the fundamental principles of health and safety risk management that are applicable in all workplace settings.
The module will cover:
-The legal, financial, and moral landscape surrounding health and safety risk management
-The key concepts of hazard and risks
-Qualitative risk assessments
-Systems for managing health and safety, including measuring health and safety performance
-The key concepts of incident investigation.
This microcredential provides a comprehensive introduction for individuals without formal training in health and safety.
Assessments are relevant to the workplace and you will have access to a tutor to ensure you receive the support you need.
This microcredential is delivered through CPD@Myplace, one of the University's virtual learning environments. This is a user-friendly platform and all you need is an internet connection. You can learn at a time that suits you - the CPD@Myplace site will open on the start date of the class, and is then accessible for the full duration of the class (there are no scheduled weekly sessions).
