From Lambhill Stables walk the short distance to Glasgow’s Western Necropolis - part of the massive cemetery network of Lambhill, St Kentigern’s and Garnethill Hebrew Burial Ground. Its impressive entrance is a triumphal arch by architect James Sellars (of Glasgow Herald Building and the Stewart Fountain, Kelvingrove fame). See memorials to wars and mining disasters and hear stories of actors, boxers and other colourful Glasgow folk.

Wear sturdy footwear and dress for the weather. Car parking at the Stables and in local streets.
